Chicken Shawarma Kebabs with Green Chilli Butter

Juicy shawarma-spiced chargrilled chicken, with zingy slaw, garlicky sauce & lemony chilli butter on fluffy flatbreads. Big vibes, little effort.

Ingredients

  • 1kg Boneless Skinless Chicken Thigh
  • 1 Packet Al'Fez Shawarma Spice Mix
  • 250g Greek Yoghurt
  • 2 Lemons
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 15g Fresh Parsley
  • 100g Salted Butter
  • 1 Red Cabbage
  • 2 tsp Dried Mint
  • 4 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 4 Al'Fez Lebanese Style Flatbreads
  • Al'Fez Garlic Squeezy Sauce
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Recipe Notes

  • If you want to make it milder, deseed the chillies.
  • You can swap the Al’Fez Garlic Squeezy Sauce for Al’Fez Tahini Squeezy Sauce.
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 mins beforehand
  • If you want to make it dairy free, switch to a plant based yoghurt
  • When grilling your chicken skewers, make sure to get them as close to the heat as you can without touching
